Jack Dann is one of the most promising racing drivers in the UK, having finished top rookie at the 2020 British Kart Championships.

Jack is an inspiration to many. He is autistic and finds many things a struggle, including high anxiety. But once he’s behind the wheel, Jack’s nerves disappear and his remarkable racing talent emerges.
A combination of pure dedication and raw talent has driven Jack to overcome his daily challenges – and budget constraints – to succeed on the track.
Driven to succeed
The Suffolk-based racer has been karting since he was just eight-years-old. On his ninth birthday he drove on an outdoor track for the first time and broke the lap record.
Six months later he wasn’t just competing, he was winning. In 2017, Jack was offered the chance to join the BMR Racing Academy, and took the step up to senior level, becoming one of the youngest racers on the grid in TKM Extremes.
Today, at the tender age of 18, Jack has joined forces with Team HARD, one of the fastest growing teams in the UK.

Despite competing in what’s often described as a ‘rich man’s sport’ with a limited budget, Jack’s natural ability means he often matches his peers’ lap times within just one track session.
The karting ace is inspired by driving legend Lewis Hamilton, former World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) winner Rob Huff, and fellow WTCC driver Tom Chilton.
